Astrology, in its broadest sense, is the search for meaning in the sky. Early evidence for humans making conscious attempts to measure, record and predict seasonal changes by reference to astronomical cycles, appears as markings on bones and cave walls, which show that lunar cycles were being noted as early as 25,000 years ago. This was a first step towards recording the Moon's influence upon tides and rivers and towards organising a communal calendar. Farmers addressed agricultural needs with increasing knowledge of the constellations that appear in the different seasons and used the rising of particular star-groups to herald annual floods or seasonal activities. By the 3rd millennium BCE, civilisations had sophisticated awareness of celestial cycles.

Psychology, is the science of behaviour and mind, including conscious and unconscious phenomena, as well as thought. It is an academic discipline of immense scope and diverse interests that, when taken together, seeks an understanding of the emergent properties of brains, and all the variety of epiphenomena they manifest. As a social science it aims to understand individuals and groups by establishing general principles and researching specific cases. In this field, a professional practitioner or researcher is called a psychologist and can be classified as a social, behavioural, or cognitive scientist. Psychologists attempt to understand the role of mental functions in individual and social behaviour, while also exploring the physiological and biological processes that underlie cognitive functions and behaviours.

BLACKMAGIC in India, often deeply intertwined with tantra-mantra, cultural traditions and traditional belief, refers to rituals aimed at fulfilling the needs of others, charms, cures ailments or gains power. Although MAYONG and Rajamoyang in Assam is known as a traditional Witchcraft Occult source centre, the practices exist throughout the country. Black magic is referred to as Kala Jatu or Tantra. It has very deep roots in ancient spiritual traditions, dating back 3,000 years to the earliest Atharvana Vedic texts. Historically used for protection, charm and fulfilment of needs. Its practices developed from rituals designed to summon spirits, tame nature or defeat enemies. A Adharvana Vedic form of Tantric practice, often conducted in cremation grounds, involving intense rituals. Spells intended to cause harm, misfortune or ruin to a specific person.
HOMAM (or Havan) is an ancient Hindu Vedic fire ritual where offerings like ghee, grains, herbs and twigs are sacrificed into a consecrated fire (Agni) while chanting mantras. Performed by trained Priests or individuals to invoke deities, it is believed to purify the environment, remove negative energy and bring prosperity, health and spiritual growth. The history of homam is deeply entrenched in the Vedas (Rig Veda, Yajur Veda, Atharva Veda), where Agni (the fire god) is worshipped as the mediator between humanity and the divine. ANCIENT INDIA: Historically, it was performed as a significant sacrifice (yajna) to invoke gods for protection, prosperity and spiritual growth. CULTURAL SPREAD: The practice extended beyond India to Central, East and SouthEast Asia.
